What is Shelley Art Group?

Shelley Art Group is a vibrant, friendly, social art club. You don't need to have had any previous art experience to join us.
We meet on Tuesday evenings at Shelley Village Hall, Huddersfield, 8 till 10 pm.  Fees can be paid termly or weekly.
Our calendar is a fun mix of open sessions (work on whatever you like), themed nights, demonstrations and workshops which are usually hosted by local/regional artists using a variety of different media.
The best way to keep updated is to subscribe to our mailing list, which should pop up on this websites home page. We also have a facebook group Shelley Art Group.
For more details please view the ABOUT page.

We've had some great member led workshops recently.
In January we had a fantastic evening experimenting with acrylic inks, led by Neil Cooper-Smith. Great results produced by everyone.
In February Jo's Graphite workshop allowed us to all experiment freely with different types of graphite to create different tonal values and textures.  Messy play had by all.  Great fun again.
