I sincerely hope this finds you well, and staying safe during these odd times we're living through.
In the absence of an actual live demo or workshop - all of which have fallen victim to cancellation or postponement until further notice-, I thought you might be interested in my new YouTube channel, where I’ve started to upload short demonstrations on a weekly basis: this week’s is stage one-the drawing-in a line and wash sketch. This venture is in response to a good few requests, so
please excuse the amateurish production... I’m still getting to grips with the finer points of editing, but they will improve... fingers crossed.
You can find it here:
and if you ‘subscribe’ and ‘add notifications’ ( the bell symbol) to my videos, you’ll get a note whenever I add a new clip. I'd be grateful for feedback of any kind, or suggestions as to what you might like to see covered in future clips? Is the commentary useful, and do you think a list of the colours, or what materials were used would be good?
Take care and stay safe, and hope to see you again at a demo or workshop once normal service resumes?
Very best wishes

While in lockdown I've been unable to teach my usual weekly classes. Armed with a phone and some basic drawing materials, I've been making demonstration videos as a weekly challenge/motivation for my groups. This week it's 'Drawing an eye in Biro.' Take a look, have a go, there are five demos on the channel so far and I'll try to add one each week. Let me see your results in the comments below (on his youtube channel

Have a go at drawing with the humble biro. Take a photo of a friend’s eye, use a picture from the internet, or a book. Choose a clear image with a good range of tones. Draw on any smooth white paper, preferably a drawing cartridge. If you enjoyed watching me draw with coffee, why not ‘buy me a coffee’? It’s a simple way of paying what you feel for content. You can do that here: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/JamieFrost My website and other links are here: Think SAG should make a donation here as I've shared it.
